SASRAPID is a Non-Profit organisation providing a variety of sport and recreational opportunities for people with integration difficulties. We need to continue and expand the programs which currently allow hundreds of people of all ages to access and participate in sporting and recreation activities of their choice.

SASRAPID is dedicated to providing full opportunities to all people with integration difficulties. In order to continue providing these opportunities YOUR membership will assist in reaching these goals.

MEMBERSHIP INCLUDES - Receiving our bi-monthly Newsletter, invitations to SASRAPID events, members discount card, assorted vouchers, relevant information forwarded and voting rights at the AGM.

South Australian Sport and Recreation Association for People with Integration Difficulties Inc   August 2008     SA WINS BY ONE GLORIOUS POINT     The SAAFL C7 State Team crossed the border to take on the Vic’s in the State Match for footballers with an intellectual disability on 19th July 2008.    The team was once again coached by John Schulz who lead the team to victory in 2007  after a five year drought. Joining John at the helm was Dean Laird (Assistant Coach),   Steven Dinan (Runner), and Manuella Reynolds (Team Manager) who added much experience to the group.   The team had five new players, which added to the depth to the playing group, who knew that it was going to be a challenge to win in Victoriaon their own turf.   The SA team started tentatively, allowing the Vic’s a confident start to the game. The Vic’s led at every change with a dominant defence. However, the fitness of SA allowed the team to stay in the game and in the dying seconds of the match, kicked a goal to win by…  One Glorious Point.   Thanks to SAAFL, Sports Centre, Councillor Carol Martin, and the Friends of SASRAPID Fundraising Committee for their support and donations.      UPCOMING EVENTS      7th Nov             SASRAPID QUIZ NIGHT   30th Nov           RAPID SWIM CARNIVAL
